How to Make Lemon Garlic Chicken Legs:

One of the things I love the most about this recipe is how easy it is.

You want to add all of the ingredients to a large zip up bag. Start by adding the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, onion powder, and salt.

Add the chicken legs to the bag then seal it. Mix everything together making sure all of the chicken legs are coated.

Keep it in the fridge for 2 hours, or overnight.

When you’re ready to cook the chicken, simply add it to the air fryer basket and discard the marinade in the bag.

Cook the chicken at 380 degrees F. for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. When the chicken is finished cooking it should have an internal temperature of 170 degrees F.

To bake the chicken in the oven, preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Roast the chicken for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken legs reach an internal temperature of 170 degrees F.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Juice from one lemon

Method
 

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a large zip-up baggie. Let it sit in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
To cook in the air fryer:
  1. Set the air fryer to 380 degrees and cook for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Check the internal temperature of the chicken which should be 170.
To bake in the oven:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Bake the chicken 35 to 40 minutes. The internal temperature of the chicken should be 170 degrees.
